The place

Sleeping places provided: 6 Places on mattresses: 6 - Hut refurbished by scouts in summer 2017 and 2018 (see comments). - At least two saws. - A chest has been brought up to protect the blankets from mice. It replaces the one a wrongdoer stole or threw away (thanks ddaniel)! - Water nearby: developed spring 50 m east of the hut, and running water in front of the hut (catchment but sometimes blocked). - A cooperative woodpile set up along the access path from Cohardin (see comment of 25/10/2017). * To help fund renovations of this hut, a voluntary contribution system has been set up: https://www.helloasso.com/associations/association-belledonne-sports-nature/formulaires/2 (by the Association Belledonne Sports Nature https://belledonne-sport-nature.fr/) - To get water, go 50 m behind the hut, a small pipe comes out of a rock, the water there is drinkable. - Lovely overhang with a view over Chambéry and the Bauges, the Bens valley. Chamois and marmots. - From Arvillard, via the Karma Ling study centre (former Carthusian monastery), alt: 770 m. - From Val Pelouse (1730 m), passing by the Perrière hut, the Frèche and Arpingon passes.
