Refuge of the Parc régional des Appalaches (Chaudière-Appalaches, Quebec), set near the rivière Noire Nord-Ouest in a maple grove (érablière) that gives it its name. In the municipality of Sainte-Lucie-de-Beauregard. A rustic backcountry cabin rented exclusively (wood stove, bunks, dry toilet, no running water or electricity). A typical base for hiking, snowshoeing and taking in the sugar-maple forest, especially spectacular in autumn. Book through the Parc des Appalaches.
