The place

Refuge at 1163 m in the Cévennes National Park (core zone), managed by the Association Rurale Cévennes-Languedoc in Cabrillac. Although still shown on some maps, the "staffed refuge" section has been closed for several years; only the unstaffed annex remains freely accessible year-round. Capacity 8 spots. Access via the D19 and the GR66.
