Refuge des Blancs Murgers

The place

One section is closed but the open section is relatively comfortable with a table, bench and stove. Unlike nearby forest shelters, this refuge has a door and is in very good condition. The refuge lies within the boundaries of the Grand Ventron Massif National Nature Reserve. As such, overnight stays are prohibited. Article 20 of decree no. 89-331 of 22 May 1989: "Camping, in a tent, vehicle or any other shelter, is prohibited." This regulation also applies to the Wintergès, Blancs Murgers (côté 88), Pionniers and Bockloch (côté 68) chalets.
