The place
Staffed Spanish refuge at 1728 m altitude in the Valle de Chistau, in the heart of the Posets-Maladeta Nature Park (Aragonese Pyrenees). 60 sleeping places. Staffed since 1957 by the Cazcarra family, today by Celia and Andrés Cazcarra (third generation). Main season from 1 June to 30 September, with variable openings between Easter and October.
