Owned by the Andorran Government, this unstaffed refuge offers accommodation for 6 people, in a warm and authentic atmosphere. Facilities and Comfort 6 metal bunk beds (mattresses and sleeping bag required). Simple furniture: a table, a bench, a first-aid cabinet. Practical equipment: grill, saw, broom. Water Supply Water catchment for the refuge (sometimes intermittent). A nearby stream provides other water sources. Tip for allergy sufferers: water can be found further up, following the path 50 m above the refuge. Access and Hiking The Refuge de Rialb is accessible from the road to the Sorteny Nature Park, starting from the village of El Serrat. Situated on the banks of the Riu de Rialb, it offers hiking possibilities up to the Ports de Siguer and de Banyell, allowing you to cross the French-Andorran border. Origin of the Name The name "Rialb" comes from the Latin "rivus albus", meaning "white river", a reference to the beauty of the surrounding streams.
