The place
Staffed Corsican hut at 1085 m altitude at Galéria, in the commune of Evisa, in the Monte Cinto massif. A former transhumance shepherds' stopover used until the early 2000s, restored by the Corsica Regional Nature Park in the 1970s. An annex building (sanitary facilities and warden's lodging) added in 2001. 15 beds during the staffed season. A stopover on the historic transhumance trail between the Niolu and the Fangu valley.
