Staffed refuge at 2005 m at the locality of Balme, municipality of Bionaz (Aosta Valley, Italy), in the Pennine Alps. A stage on the Tour du Cervin. Season from 31 May to 25 October. Dormitory and double rooms; bar and restaurant serving traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. Base for alpine ascents, hiking, mountain biking in summer and ski touring in winter and spring.
