Refuge de Mulleres (de Molières)

The place

Emergency refuge at 2390 m above the Estany Inferior de Molières (Val d'Aran, western Catalan Pyrenees). Capacity 9 people. Access only in case of emergency, accident, or severe bad weather. Equipment: emergency radio, blankets, mattresses. Sponsored by the Centre Excursionista Alta Ribagorça (cearpontdesuert@gmail.com). Access from the southern entrance of the Vielha tunnel (3 h on foot) or from the Artiga de Lin (4 h).
