The place

Alpine refreshment stand at 1854 m in Leysin (Vaud, Vaud Alps, Switzerland), by a small mountain lake, below the Tête d'Aï cable car and ski lift. Open all year round (summer and winter). 50 indoor places, 60 outdoor places. Non-motorized access: Leysin cable car then 40 min walk past Lac d'Aï, or car park at Chamois then 1h20 via Temeley. On hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing trails. Specialties: Belgian cuisine alongside alpine fare — herb fondue from the Ormonts, Brussels waffles, local and Belgian craft beers. Chablaix family, new operators. Children's play area. Not wheelchair accessible, no public transport.
