The place
CAF refuge at Maljasset, at 1,905 m altitude in the heart of the hamlet of the same name, in the commune of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). Housed in an old farmhouse with a stone roof and vaulted rooms, in the Maurin valley. Managed by the CAF de l'Ubaye. Maximum capacity of 39 people. Staffed in two seasons: 15 December to 30 April and 15 June to 30 September. A starting point for numerous hikes in the area.
