Refuge de Lavasar

The place

Sleeping capacity: 4 Sturdy cabin. Indoor amenities: - 1 table - 1 bench - 1 fireplace Water: Take the path descending toward the beautiful Ibon de Plan lake; after a 7-minute walk, the path crosses the stream flowing from the lake. Note: Just to the left of the stream crossing there is a small 2.5m waterfall, arranged by mother nature into a shower stall. Refuge located at the Collado de Plan (or del Ibon). From Savarillo (Gistain valley): - A good, easily driveable track leads to the refuge by vehicle. - The GR15, marked in red and white, also climbs from Savarillo and passes by the refuge (the path cuts across the track's switchbacks).
