The place

Staffed refuge at 1,532 m at the foot of the Dent du Cruet and the Pointe de Talamarche, on the GR 96, about 2 h on foot from Montremont near Thônes (Haute-Savoie, Bornes-Aravis massif). Former alpine-pasture farm built in 1764, converted into a refuge in the early 1980s. Lunch and dinner catering. Season from 15 May to 15 October, every day.
