The place
Refuge at 700 m in the Hautes-Vosges (Haute-Saône). Hut heavily covered in graffiti, seems to be used by local youths for gatherings. Access from Plancher-les-Mines via the D16 towards the Ballon de Servance, take the forest path straight on at the first switchback. The D16 is not cleared of snow beyond the Abri Mérique in winter.

Depuis Plancher-les-Mines, D16 en direction du Ballon de Servance ; au premier virage en épingle, continuer tout droit sur la route forestière du Stalon.
