Good to know

No sleeping arrangements! Now a fine forest shelter with table, benches, stools, stove, broom. NO sleeping arrangements. I'm writing this now, because the shelter I knew in winter 1993 was quite modest and rather run-down... But the stove worked wonderfully and it's the very same one that was reinstalled in the new cabin! The same goes for the sofa (now replaced by an armchair) if I recall correctly, admittedly quite worn but a joy for the loaded, exhausted, frozen skiers we were. No water in the area. Stove usable again again as of February 2023The Refuge de la Joux, according to maps, is located at the forest-road crossroads known as Borne des Quatre Cantons, right in the middle of the Joux (forest) de Jougne. It can be reached from Switzerland (Joux de la Limasse, or Col de l'Aiguillon), from La Queue via Grange-Fontaine, from Jougne via La Grangette, etc....ONF
