Refuge de la Combe de Fer

The place

Sleeping places planned: 4 No water nearby (or possibly at -90m underground...). Clean and basic. Table, 2 benches, a saw (broken in 2025), small shelves with kitchen utensils. Working gas stove, a broom, a shovel (in poor condition). Small loft to sleep in (2 places max upstairs, 2 more max on the floor, but at that point you can no longer move around inside the hut). Mainly used by cavers exploring the surrounding cavities. Maintained by the cavers of La Tronche (sgflt.free.fr) About a quarter of an hour from the hut from the Serre du Play cabin following a path heading north-northeast. Groupe Speleo La Tronche (FLT)
