The place

Sleeping spaces: 2 The part open to everyone is a room with a stove (which heats well but has little wood), a large table and a bench seat that can fit 2/3 people. The living area (table, large bed, large stove) is well insulated. The dormitory is upstairs (though there are 2 sleeping spots downstairs as well). There is said to be a spring about a hundred metres further north. Firewood must be gathered at the edge of the forest below, to the south-east, 10 min away. No cutting tool on site. Trail climbing up from the Refuge du Narderan, 25 minutes. Easily accessible from the valley (45 min), or descending from the Reculet via the ridges and the Grotte de la Marie du Jura (45 minutes). Winter: the first slope climbing up from the Narderan should be approached with caution. It has an exposed traverse. This chalet belongs to the Sergy town hall. It was renovated by the local ACCA (hunting association). It is used primarily by hunters in season, or by shepherds during the summer grazing period.
