The place

ONF hut at 1048 m on the Caroux massif, at the Plo de la Maurelle, near a viewpoint indicator at the crossing of several hiking trails (Hérault, Haut-Languedoc). Working fireplace, table and benches for 8 to 10 people, mezzanine that can comfortably hold about ten people. Viewpoint indicator nearby, outdoor picnic table sheltered by trees. Outdoor fires strictly forbidden due to dense vegetation and drought risk. Plan to take your rubbish away with you. Open year-round — contact the Mons-la-Trivalle town hall for further information.
