Refuge d'Entre-Valls

The place

There is no refuge here and there never was! Only one house has been renovated by a private individual, and the rest of the village is in ruins. The half-ruined chapel offers basic shelter. Read the comments. The Thuès-les-Bains care center: Follow the railway line (electrified rails, danger of death) westward to a bridge over a stream (hot water), following the boiling pipes supplying the center. Once past the bridge, cross the stream as quickly as possible to head toward the hot water waterfall. Face the slope opposite the waterfall to climb a significant elevation gain. Once at the top of this steep slope, keep looking for the paths climbing to the left (South), to eventually reach a good trail (an old road), which leads to the abandoned village of Entre Valls
