The place

Refuge at 1650 m in the Massif du Renosu (Haute-Corse, commune of Ghisoni), about 15 km from the village. A historic stage on the GR 20, the name comes from a former shepherds' shelter. The adjoining ski area, developed since 1974, spans from 1580 m to 1870 m (highest point at the Capaghjolu chairlift) at the foot of the Monte Renosu (2352 m). 16 places, car parks. Three ski lifts.
