Refuge Clearwater

The place

Refuge of the Mont Gosford system located in Saint-Augustin-de-Woburn (Estrie, Quebec, Canada), at 936 m elevation. The refuge closest to the summit, ideal for climbing the mountain in a day and resting there until morning; direct access to trails and a fine view of the summit. Eight sleeping spots on two large open-plan sleeping platforms (a layout similar to the Castor and Morin refuges). Winter access: 10.5 to 12 km of snowshoeing on a difficult but scenic trail; access is easier in summer. System address: 901 rang Tout-de-Joie, Saint-Augustin-de-Woburn.
