Refuge de Bécet

The place

Open hut at 1570 m in Capcir (Pyrénées-Orientales), along a forest track. Fully renovated in 2012 by the Capcir - Haut Conflent commune, then improved since 2016 by the Tous à Poêle association: new stove, lime-washed walls, enclosed area in front of the refuge. Capacity 2 spaces on the bench, possibility of pitching a tent just below. Stage 2 of the GRP Tour du Capcir toward the Refuge des Camporells. Access from Puyvalador via a forest track passing the Puyvalador lake dam, through the village of Odello, crossing the ford of the Roc stream, about 45 min to the refuge.
