Gas cooking has been removed: bring a portable stove. Rates: adults $25/night, youths $12.50, free under 5. Backcountry Hut Pass accepted. Online booking mandatory — no unreserved spaces available. Same-day booking possible until 8pm, subject to availability. Rangiwahia-Deadmans loop 7-9 hours in good weather. Dogs prohibited in the park.
