Radlovac
The place
Historic site of the central Velebit: the Premužić Trail reaches the upper edge of a broad clearing called Radlovac, between Štirovača and the Dabarski kukovi. The old sklonište planinarski Radlovac (mountain shelter) was abandoned there; its role as a waypoint on the Velebit long-distance trail has been taken over since 2000 by the Kugina kuća, whose management was handed in 1999 to the PD Željezničar club of Gospić, and which is open year-round to hikers. The Radlovac path serves as an approach from the Adriatic coast to Kugina kuća or Satorina: it is one of only two waymarked trails that climb to the central Velebit from the sea, starting at the village of Cacici on the Adriatic, 10 km from Karlobag towards Senj.
