Radelsee-Haus - Rifugio Lago Rodella
The place
The Radlseehütte, or Rifugio Lago Rodella, is a staffed hut of the Alpenverein Südtirol, Brixen section, set at 2284 m in the Sarentine Alps, on the eastern shore of Lake Radlsee, below the Königsangerspitze. It has 24 beds in rooms and 26 mattress places in the dormitory, plus 6 places in the winter room. The staffed season runs from mid-May to early November. The site is a classic stage on Sarentine traverses and offers direct access to Monte Cane (2354 m) and Monte del Pascolo (2436 m). Lake Radlsee, right next to the hut, adds to the appeal of the place.
