The place
Kota (day-use tipi shelter) built in 2020 at the northern end of Lake Pyhäjärvi, in Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park (Kittilä municipality, Lapland). Near the accessible Pyhäjärvi day hut, complemented by two laavus and a kota a short distance away. No overnight sleeping.
Getting there
The shortest accessible nature trail starts from the large Pyhäjärvi parking area (well signposted). The jetty, kota, wood shelter, and dry toilets are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
