Standard DOC hut with 6 bunks at 543 m in the Waitōtara Conservation Area (Manawatu/Whanganui, NZ). Trail from the Puniwhakau Road end closed until further notice (bridge removed). No booking: Standard ticket (adults $10, youth $5, under 4 free) or Backcountry Hut Pass. New rates from 1 July 2026.
