The place
A stage on the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri at the Passo della Scoffera, which marks the end of the 27th stage from the Colle di Creto (8.3 miles, 4 h 15 - 5 h, +430 m) and the start of the 28th toward the Sella della Giassina (8.5 km, 3-3.5 h, +511 m). The Passo della Scoffera sits in the hills behind Genoa, in the Parco Regionale Naturale dell'Antola, and forms a road and trail junction between the Bisagno valley and the Trebbia valley. The posto tappa offers food and accommodation to hikers on the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, a 43-stage long-distance trail that runs through the Ligurian hinterland from Ventimiglia (Imperia) to Ceparana (La Spezia).
