Getting there
Unstaffed TT (Trondhjems Turistforening) DNT hut. 16 beds + 3 bunk beds in the lounge + loft with 8 mattresses = 27 places total. Equipped kitchen, bedding, provisions. Next hut west = Kvitfjellhytta (13 km). East = Schuzhytta (18 km). On the NORGE PÅ TVERS route (Stjørdal to the Swedish border, 7 days).

Center-west of Sylan, just inside Skarvan og Roltdalen National Park (Nord-Trøndelag, Trøndelag, 63.29°N 11.34°E, 620 m, Norway) — not Nordland/Helgeland despite the search. Views over Stråsjøen nature reserve, Prestøyan, Selbufjella (rich birdlife).
