The place
Small room with a mezzanine at 1680 m in the Belledonne massif (Isère), able to host 4-5 people maximum in the wood-floored loft with 4 mattresses. Mini table and 2 benches, a very small untested stove: the chimney flue can come loose and cause poor draw and smoke inside, use with caution. Latrines on the right on entering are sealed off, out of service. Spring upstream to the southeast, captured in a plastic trough. Inside: 4 mattresses, 1 blanket, 1 guestbook, hand saw, corkscrew, 3 glasses, 2 plastic spoons, 1 large pot. Marked "closed / reserved for shepherds" per the database.
The setting
Petit chalet-abri en mezzanine, capacité très réduite, massif de Belledonne. Point d'eau en amont au sud-est, latrines condamnées, poêle à bois avec un défaut connu sur le conduit de cheminée.
