The place
Unmanned chalet at 1450 m in the Belledonne massif, municipality of La Ferrière (Isère, between Allevard and Fond de France). Rebuilt in 2010 by the municipality of La Ferrière. About 1 h 30 walk from the Martinette car park. Capacity 8 to 10 people upstairs, accessible via a wooden ladder; table, two benches, wood stove, crockery, mattresses (no blankets). Dry toilets 30 m away with sawdust available, fountain right beside them. Renovated and regularly maintained by the association Tous à Poêle.
Getting there
Depuis le hameau de Fond de France/la Martinette, suivre le sentier qui monte au vallon de Combe Madame.

Chalet non gardé à 1426 m, massif de Belledonne (Isère). Poêle avec réserve de bois, table, bancs, ustensiles de cuisine, toilettes sèches. Capacité d'environ 8 personnes.
