Metsähallitus vuokratupa (reservable cabin) in the Käsivarsi wilderness area (Enontekiö, northern Lapland), made up of two small cabins on the southeast shore of Lake Porojärvi with a wood-fired sauna on the shore. Sámi name Boazojávri. Site historically used as a retreat by former Finnish president Urho Kekkonen, nicknamed "Kekkosen kämppä" (Kekkonen's cabin). About 45 km from the road and the nearest village of Kilpisjärvi, a demanding wilderness destination requiring navigation skills. Inaccessible during snowmelt. Each cabin has a stove and firewood provided. Booking and payment online via Metsähallitus. Intended for hikers, anglers, and hunters.
