Zavetišče (unstaffed shelter) at 1023 m in the Slatna sector, near Macesnovec at Rateče (municipality of Kranjska Gora, Julian Alps, Slovenia). Listed in the network of 176 huts, shelters and bivouacs managed by the Planinska zveza Slovenije (PZS) — the Alpine Association of Slovenia. Good base for hiking in the Rateče / Tarvisio (Italy) border area and the Triglav National Park to the south. A typically Slovenian stopover for hikers passing between Italy and Austria.

Ce bâtiment était à l'origine un poste de garde militaire, reconverti par la suite en abri de montagne.
A word from the warden
Cet abri est loué depuis 2002 par une association alpine locale au ministère slovène de la Défense, propriétaire du terrain et du bâtiment ; son entretien est assuré régulièrement par les membres bénévoles de cette association.
