Planinarsko sklonište Skorpovac (Skorpovac Mountain Shelter) in central Velebit, Lika-Senj county (Croatia), at 958 m elevation, in the coastal Dinaric range. Part of a continuous Croatia cluster (batches 232-255). HPS (Hrvatski Planinarski Savez) shelter on the Premužićeva staza trail (1930-1933), roughly midway between Zavižan (northern Velebit) and Južni Velebit. Zone of beech, fir and black pine, part of the UNESCO Velebit Global Geopark, habitat of the Balkan lynx.
