The place

CAI Milano refuge at 2,706 m in Val Cedec (Valfurva, Sondrio province), at the heart of the Ortles-Cevedale group. Bar-restaurant, dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms or private rooms with a shower, central heating, sauna, and a heated ski/boot room. A base for mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking, ski touring, and snowshoeing; historic First World War routes in the area. Affiliated with Asso Rifugi Lombardia. Summer opening from 19 June to 15 September 2026.
