The place

Peskő-ház refuge at 542 m at the foot of Mount Peskő (Bükk massif, Hungary), 10 km from Felsőtárkány, accessible only on foot. Managed by the Kárpát Egyesület Eger. Capacity 7 people in bunk beds. Heating available, water from a nearby spring. Protected area: no parties or noisy celebrations, closed during hunting season. Winter rates (1 Jan-15 Apr, 15 Oct-31 Dec): 4,000 HUF/person (min. 15,000 HUF/night); summer (16 Apr-14 Oct): 3,500 HUF/person (min. 12,000 HUF/night).
