Pearson Hut

The place

Basic 4-bunk DOC hut at 792 m in the Kirkliston Range Conservation Area (Mackenzie Country and Waitaki, Canterbury, NZ). Free. Three access routes via marked easements: Highland Farm Settlement Road to the north; Farm Road to the south (main access); Milne Road in the centre. The Farm Road and Milne Road easements may be closed for lambing from 5 September to 15 October each year.
