The place

Risön farm in the Florarna nature reserve, between Österbybruk and Lövstabruk, Uppsala County (Sweden), managed by the Uppsala County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen Uppsala). Total capacity of up to 30 people overnight, spread across three cottages/sleeping areas and an open mezzanine with 15 places (basic mattresses and blankets provided). Main building: fully equipped kitchen, service block with toilets and showers, bunk beds, two small cottages, large hall with long tables. Season from 1 May to 31 October. Currently closed for bookings: check the website for future availability. Rates: organisations/schools SEK300/night, individuals SEK600/night. Free cancellation up to 5 working days before arrival.
