Standard-category DOC hut with eight bunks, located at 294 m in Te Urewera (Bay of Plenty), in the Waimana Valley area. To be verified before travelling: Te Uru Taumatua (the operational body of Ngāi Tūhoe) has, since 2022, been progressively withdrawing 44 huts from Te Urewera, and DOC now redirects its Te Urewera pages to this shared inventory.
