The place

Self-service DNT cabin atop Oskampen, at 1,502 m elevation, in the Langsua / Huldreheimen massif. **Built in 1970**, it offers a panoramic view towards Jotunheimen and over all of Langsua. Capacity of 12 beds, 6 bookable in advance and 6 on a walk-in basis. Complete facilities: equipped kitchen, dry provisions in the pantry, wood-stove heating, gas lighting; guests are self-sufficient (cooking, water, cleaning). Summer: by car via the Jotunheimvegen (gravel road) from Beitostølen, then 1 hour on foot from Sandåkluftin; Valdresekspressen bus to Gjendesheim + 9 hours of walking. Winter: ski from Finnbøle or Gjendesheim (19-30 km). Open year-round — popular for winter and spring skiing. Booking via hyttebestilling.dnt.no; payment via the DNT app.
