The place

Interior equipment: - Wooden floor. From Escaldes, drive up the Engolasters road: cross the bridge over the Riu Madriu (south of the foot of the Via Ferrata del Roc d'Esquers), the path that follows the Val Madriu up begins on the left a little further west from the road. Climb up to the Pont d'Entremesaigües, then take the path to the right at the bridge heading south, then the path curves east before reaching the orry, just before the [->5451]. From the [->5435] or the [->5444]: descend the valley until you reach the junction of the Cami de la Collada de la Maiana, which you take on your left, climb to the pass and cross it, followed by a long flat stretch then a descent to the SW towards the [->5451], the orry is 150 m to the NW. From the [->5413]: climb the valley until you reach the junction of the Cami de la Collada de la Maiana, which you take on your right, climb to the pass and cross it, followed by a long flat stretch then a descent to the SW towards the [->5451], the orry is 150 m to the NW. From the Refuge de Claror: descend towards the [->5451], visible to the north from your starting point if visibility is good, the orry is 150 m to the NW.
