The place
Stone orri at 2040 m in the Conflent (Pyrénées-Orientales). Can serve as a shelter in summer but not in winter, as snow can get in or bury it. Capacity 2-3 people maximum. Not to be confused with the neighboring Cabane de la Balmeta (2100 m), recently renovated in 2024 by the local intercommunal authority and maintained since by Tous à Poêle.
