The place

Planned sleeping places: 9. Places on mattress: 9. Small comfortable cabin built by the CAI in 2018, free. Water can be found a quarter hour to the north-east, towards the lakes. Solar-panel lighting. More or less marked and cairn-marked access from Pian d'Erbioi (1/2h). Easy to find in clear weather, by GPS or by skill in fog. Crossing to the Swiss side possible via the Passo di Boccareccio/Ritterpass (T3+, cable on the final section on the Italian side). CAI - Sezione di Varzo.
