The place

Alpine pasture building along the GR 91, in the Réserve naturelle des Hauts Plateaux du Vercors, at 1600 m. The main masonry building is locked and used by the shepherd during the summer grazing season; a small storage space remains accessible under the sheepfold. The old building next door is open, with the lower section used for animals and the upper section reachable via an old wooden staircase (bare floorboards only). Should not be considered a place to sleep in summer. Reserve regulations: dogs, fires and camping are prohibited, bivouacking allowed only from 5 pm to 9 am, foraging and littering are forbidden.
