The place

Self-service DNT cabin at 1,005 m in Møre og Romsdal (Norway). Made up of a main cabin (hovedhytte) and a safety cabin (sikringshytte, 4 beds plus a dog kennel). Open year-round, unlocked. No running water or electricity. Cooking on a 3-burner gas stove. Wood stove for heating. Outdoor latrine. Solar panels provide simple lighting in the main cabin. Registration and payment (overnight stay, day visit/tent, resupply) via the DNT app. No mobile coverage on site. Managed by Bergen og Hordaland Turlag.
