Refuge bivouac Nino Soardi

The place

CAI bivouac at 2620 m near the French border, below the walls of the Bric Boucie (Val Pellice, Italy). Converted from a 1939 military barracks. Capacity 10 places. Small kitchen and photovoltaic lighting. Staffed in July and August. Water from a spring 15 minutes away on the Villanova path, or directly at the refuge in summer on request. Major starting point for climbing the Bric Boucie (2998 m), with numerous routes including the "Via normale della Valpellice" (EEA).
