The place
Nestbox #2 in the Ulladulla Nature Reserve, Ulladulla/Milton area (south coast NSW, New South Wales, Australia), at 22 m altitude, on the Pacific coast. Part of the continuous Australia NSW coast cluster (batches 240-344). A wildlife nestbox structure (a NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service research program reintroducing the glossy black-cockatoo, Calyptorhynchus lathami, critically endangered in NSW, <2,000 individuals + the small yellow-bellied glider possum, its classification as a "refuge" being questionable on OSM), in an area of Eucalyptus mannifera manna gum-Corymbia gummifera red bloodwood coastal sclerophyll forest, part of the heritage of the Yuin (the Bundjalung people of southeastern NSW, the Bundjalung Nation, "Whales People", the first to receive an Aboriginal land title under the 1993 Wangary Native Title Act).
