Self-catering tourist house run by the Naturfreunde Weiz, at 1235 m in the Weizer Bergland (Styria). Unstaffed lodge with ten beds in double rooms, an equipped kitchen with crockery, a shower, sauna access and a mobile reception. Rate: 170 EUR per night for lodging, 150 EUR final cleaning fee, tourist tax of 2.50 EUR per person (free under 15), minimum two nights. Booking by phone, access via a code obtained from the managers. Access by car or public transport: from Weiz train station, SAM taxi-shuttle to Eibisberg, then 1.3 km on foot along a forest track.
