منزل الشيخ محسن الذيفاني (٢) (House of Sheikh Muhsin al-Dayfani no. 2) in the Sanaa governorate, Amran/Manakhah area (Yemeni highlands, ~40 km west of Sanaa, Yemen), at 2,529 m elevation, Al-Sarat range. Traditional earth-and-stone house (Sanaa architecture, UNESCO 1986, "earthen skyscrapers" 6-9 storeys, among the oldest of their kind in the world), heritage of Yemeni Zaydi Shia Islam and the civil war ongoing since 2015, a humanitarian catastrophe with 377,000 deaths.
