Mittlebärghütte

The place

Private high-altitude cabin at 2395 m on a rocky shoulder below the Mittlebärg (2536 m) in the Binntal valley in Valais (Landschaftspark Binntal regional nature park), Switzerland. Remarkable location with a clear view to the west, from the Weisshorn to the Dents du Midi. 22 beds in two dormitories upstairs, common room, kitchen and warden's room on the ground floor. No winter room and no access when the warden is absent. Continuously staffed in March-April (ski touring) and from late June to mid-October (alpine hiking).
